Dart Totnes row fine boats on the beautiful River Dart – with a large fleet of boats including single sculls, doubles, pairs, quads, fours and eights. One of the best equipped Clubs in the South West, DTARC has an excellent range of facilities – with over 35 boats for Club members’ use and racking for over 40 private boats. As well as a large recreation area, the clubhouse has an ergo room with more than 20 Concept Two rowers as well as a range of spinning bikes, a weights area and spacious changing and showering facilities. The boathouse, built in 1985, is sited on Steamer Quay adjacent to the River Dart on the outskirts of Totnes.
The Club trains on the upper reaches of the Dart, which provides excellent training water. While tidal, only extremes of weather prevent boating from our slipway or steps.
With almost 100 Juniors and 200 Adult members, the Club is very busy and actively competes in WEARA, National and International events. We welcome new rowers, experienced and novice – see the Joining tab for more information, or Contact Us.
